PWHT Check

Terms of Service

The service

PWHT Check is proprietary browser software supplied by HAAVIK APP DEVELOPMENT, organisation number 935 582 016, owned by Sander Haavik, Norway. These terms cover access to the calculator and commercial account services.

Engineering responsibility

You provide the numerical engineering requirements from your own approved procedure and select the data, units, channels and analysis boundaries. PWHT Check does not determine applicable codes or standards, certify weld acceptance, or determine fitness for service. A qualified reviewer remains responsible for final engineering acceptance. Verify inputs and evidence before relying on results.

License and accounts

Purchase grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the product within the purchased user, seat and activation limits. Keep sign-in links private. Company administrators are responsible for assigning authorized users. Third-party components retain their own licenses.

Checks and subscriptions

A confirmed new paid analysis uses one Check. Failed imports, demos and viewing/exporting existing results do not use another Check. Credit packs have no monthly expiry. Recurring plans renew at the interval and price displayed at checkout until cancelled. Cancellation stops future renewal; access continues until the paid term ends.

Local storage

Your engineering records remain in your browser. Maintain exported backups. We cannot recover files or reports that were never sent to us, including data lost after browser storage is cleared.

Availability and remedies

Use the service within its documented limits. If you encounter an error, stop relying on the affected output and contact support without attaching confidential engineering records. Mandatory consumer rights and remedies apply and are not excluded by these terms.

Changes and governing law

Norwegian law applies, without removing mandatory protections available to consumers in their country. Material changes to an existing subscription will be communicated before they apply. Contact us first to resolve a complaint; statutory complaint and dispute-resolution rights remain available.
